The Apple iPad seems to have done what the experts wanted. It is set to join print with digital all combined into one experience. The new device that Steve Jobs unveiled January 27, 2010 is a netbook computer, music and entertainment provider, e book reader and so much more.

It weighs less than two pounds and is only one half inch thick, yet you can surf the internet, courtesy of the spectacular Safari browser. Send your e mail. Download music, and video, and pictures. In order to use the internet on your iPad you will need an AT&T data plan. It can range from $14.99 to $29.99 per month. The low end price for an iPad is $499. At that price point you get a netbook with 16 GB memory and WiFi access built in. At the high end of $829 the memory steps up to 32 GB and the iPad comes with both 3G access and WiFi. A pretty good price for a multi tasking device!
